Choghadiya

Choghadiya is a traditional Hindu timekeeping system used primarily in India to find auspicious or inauspicious times for initiating important activities. The term “Choghadiya” translates to “four ghadi,” with “ghadi” being an ancient time unit roughly equal to 24 minutes. Therefore, one Choghadiya spans approximately 96 minutes.
